“The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands. Day after day they pour forth speech; night after night they reveal knowledge. They have no speech, they use no words; no sound is heard from them. Yet their voice goes out into all the earth, their words to the ends of the world.” Ps 19:1-4
In the morning stillness the birds sing, in the evening, the crickets chirp. The mountains stand crisp against the sky, the trees sway in the wind, and the flowers turn their heads to the sun. At night the stars shine and the moon gives light. All creation reflects the glory of God, and we can find joy in his handiwork. There is beauty everywhere if we open our eyes to it. We hurry and scurry with our heads down, forgetting to appreciate the beauty in the world around us, but if we stop and take a breath, God can speak.
In the world we live in, violence on the news isn’t happening off screen as it does in my stories. It’s happening in our neighborhoods, to our friends. I could go on about the encroaching darkness, lament the tragedy of where we’ve come and why, but I believe that is covered quite well in other media. We need to understand the severity of our situation in the world, and I applaud those who write to inform us, but that isn’t what I’m here to do. I’m here to offer hope.
I don’t know why things happen the way they do, why people do evil in the sight of God, but these things I know.
- God made you
- God loves you
- God wants you to live out the dreams He put in your heart

You Rock Girl! Awesome start to your blogging website. Loved what you did in explaining the creation and that all we need to do is to look around and feel his presence in our in hearts. Jesus Christ brings me sufficient joy daily. I look to him for any and all things.
